Meet my family

My life started blissfully as a single child. I loved it that way. I got what I wanted when I wanted it, and my pacis were always cleaned off right away. Those were the days...

But alas, mom and dad decided to have more. (What were they thinking?) Fast forward a lot of years, and I have two sister, who despite the fighting, bickering, and tattling, we really do love each other.

I graduated from Lawrence North High School and went onto Purdue University. I graduated with a BA in Psychology and a MS in School Counseling. I spent a couple of years in Batesville, IN and then moved back to Indy, bought a house, fell in love, got married, and had a baby. All within 3 years of each other.

Nate, my perfect hubby, grew up in Greenfield, IN. We were married on 3/8/08. It was a perfectly, snowy, cold March day.

We have taken many trips together since we met. We camped around the Canadian side of Lake Superior, camped our way around Michigan, went to Puerto Vallarta Mexico (honeymoon), Crossville, TN, Branson, MS, New Bern, NC, and Tybee Island, GA. We love to travel when we can.

In September of 08, we found out that we were expecting.  We were so excited!! We decided to not find out the gender, which drove everyone else crazy.

On May 27th 2009, a week late and via c-section, our baby bear was born. Baby was a boy. We named him David Layton. David is my dad's 1st name and Nate's middle name. Layton was grandfather's (dad's) first name.

David is now a busy toddler who keeps me on my toes.

In November 2011 we found out that after 2 losses, we were pregnant again. As we made it past milestones, we got more and more excited. This time we decided to find out the gender, and are ecstatic to be expecting a little GIRL in July!! Molley Elizabeth joined our family on July 20th, and 4:44pm. She weighed 7lbs6oz and was 20 inches long. She is truly a blessing to our family.
