11 Months
Age: Molley is 11 months old
Weight: 23lbs
Length: she was a little wiggly, but 28 inches looked about right.
Sizes: She is in size 3 diapers and in 12 month clothes.
Eyes: Hazel maybe?
Hair: Brown - it's lighter than it once was
Sleeping: Well, we've reverted back to not sleeping all night and needing a bottle again on some nights, and some nights she sleeps all night. Just depends on her mood.
Eating: More and more table foods, which means more mess. She likes to eat, but hates her sippy cup.I think we have tried 5 or 6 different cups. She takes a sip and throws it on the floor....repeatedly.
Milestones: Nothing new to report this month.
Memorable outings: Molley attended her 1st VBS, and we celebrated our first Father's Day as a family of 4. She also made her first visit to the spray park.
Favorite toys/activities: Scooting and putting everything she can in her mouth.
Words/sounds: Just dada.
Nicknames: Sweet Pea, Molley-Molls, MuMu, Scooter
Funny moments: At the spray park, Molley would get so excited when the water came on, and sad when it went off. When it would go off, she would scoot to find one that was on. In the process, she ended up in direct shot of one when it came on. Girl does not like to be surprised with a shot of water in the face.
Looking forward to: Sleeping, walking, talking...

Scooter!
Neither is my children have enjoyed crawling. David at least did it, better backwards that forwards, but he did it. I'm not sure Molley will ever crawl. This is what she has been doing for a couple of months now. She's pretty fast though. It gets her from A to B and she can see what is going on the whole time. Plus, she has figured out that she can hold a snack and do this at the same time. Some parents worry about wear on the knees of their kids clothes, have to worry about wear on her butt!

A Pirate's Life for Me!
Last weekend we had a very pirate-y day. David had talked for weeks (umm...months) about his pirate party and how much fun he was going to have. He was so excited when the day finally came. I have to admit, I was too. :) This was a fun theme to do for a party! Photo bomb to follow!
David wanted to be Captain Hook
Which of course meant that daddy needed to be Mr. Smee.
Some of the decorations
I wanted to do a craft, and what better one than treasure chests! These are empty formula containers(free) that I spray painted brown. I bought some foam stickers online and let the kids decorate their own. So what if the paint didn't stick as well as I had hoped, it was still a fun and cheap craft!
Walking the plank
Did I get a good picture of him sitting still with his cupcake, nope. Did he have fun, absolutely. That's all that matters, right?
