4 years

I am in denial. There is no way that my baby can be 4, yet here I am, another year and another birthday post.

3 brought a lot of changes for David.

He is completely potty trained now - day and night.
He moved into Miss So's class at school and learned so much from her. He is now excited to move into Miss Lori's class, because that is high school.
He learned how to ride his bike.
He gained another cousin.
He became a big brother.
He attended his first VBS.
He learned what Hot Wheels are, and refuses now to play with any other cars.
He graduated from 1st steps and entered speech through the school.
He moved into a high back booster seat, and now thinks that he is the bomb.
He discovered Jake and Neverland Pirates, and now thinks the pirate life is the only life.
He grew up, got big, and won't let me call him my baby anymore.

Happy Birthday, sweet boy. Mommy and daddy love you more than you will ever know.

Double Digits!

Age: Molley is 10 months old
Weight: She is about 22 lbs

Length: 28 inches
Sizes: She is in size 3 diapers. We just changed over to 12 month clothes. They are big, but 9-12 months is a size that is hard to find.
Eyes: I thought they were changing to brown, but they've stopped. Hazel maybe?
Hair: Dark brown
Sleeping: Well, we've reverted back to not sleeping all night and needing a bottle again on some nights, and some nights she sleeps all night. Just depends on her mood.
Eating: She still likes it. :) She's been getting more and more table foods and loving it. Still hates her sippy cup though.
Milestones: She is starting to mimic some. If I shake my head no, she will do the same. Yes is harder for her to do. She also cut her first tooth!
Memorable outings: We went to TeTe's house to swim - talk about love. I also celebrated my first Mother's Day as a mommy of two.
Favorite toys/activities:  Spinning. She loves to spin around in her exersaucer. She refuses to crawl, but can scoot and get anywhere she needs to be.
Words/sounds: Just dada. It's growing on me.
Nicknames: Sweet Pea, Molley-Molls, MuMu
Funny moments: I walked by one day to see David dropping his cars on the floor and Molley historically laughing. "It's not funny Molley, stop laughing" as he starts to laugh and keeps doing it. He loves to get her giggling, and he is just about the only one who can.
Looking forward to: hearing mama, getting her to do more signs

You've got the beat

David loves the music at church. Loves. Even though we don't use hymnals in our service, he is always opening one up and following along. It's rather adorable. He tries so hard to follow and gets very upset if you try to interrupt him.

Today though, he took the following along to a whole other level - he not only followed, but he grooved to the beat. You can't hear it, but he also added some "oooo's" of his own. My little guy...aspiring musician!
